How to use PDF patterns

Have you downloaded patterns from my shop and
ask yourself how to use them?

Ask no more, as with this short guide you will be a pro using the patterns I have created!

Firstly, I do have in mind the cost of living and rising expenses on evrything, therefore I do my best to squize as much as I can possibly fit on the A4 or letter format, so it is still readable and what is more important that You, don't have to use as much paper and tape.

Once you have purchase a pattern from my shop, you will be able to download the PDF files. To read the file, you will need a software such as: Adobe Acrobat Reader, PDF Expert, Foxit Reader and so on...

Currently, my patterns come in A4 format. I will be expanding my range to to the letter format later this year.

Know that we know the basics, let's start preparing for the next project.

Step 1
Once you open you desired pattern, be sure to set your printer to "NOT SCALING". Make sure it it is set at 100% and pick the correct size to print. Europe usually use "A4" while USA use "letter".

But what if I need to make adjustments? Well, I will show you the process here.

Notes:

Prop patterns:

Patterns are 2D objects, which means they are flat. While props are 3D objects, which means you will need to separate patterns accordingly by yourself if you wish to add the depth, built though several layers.

Sewing patterns:

All sewing patterns comes without seam allowances. You will need to add your own preferred seam allowance.

Make a mock up!

Create a mock up from a cheap fabric with similar properties as your final main fabric. This way you make sure that the pattern fits your body perfectly and you don't waste your desired and propably an expensive fabric of choice.

Sewing is an incredible difficult skill to master, but once you know the basics and have a will to learn more it is a an incredibly rewarding skill.

And the most important part of it all:

HAVE FUN CRAFTING!!
